WealthCon 2024 was a powerful three-day community experience that brought together nearly 100 Black and Brown individuals and families for a weekend centered on financial empowerment, connection, and celebration. From a thought-provoking movie night that sparked meaningful dialogue to a vibrant festival-style day filled with engaging sessions, local businesses, food, live music, and outdoor activities, the weekend created an accessible and welcoming space for learning and joy.


Designed to address long-standing financial barriers, WealthCon served as an intentional platform to equip participants with practical tools, education, and a supportive network to strengthen financial confidence and generational wealth-building efforts. The event not only provided resources—it helped shift narratives, foster community, and reaffirm that financial empowerment is both possible and collective. WealthCon 2024 marked an important step forward in creating spaces where money becomes a tool for freedom, opportunity, and legacy.

Weekend at a Glance

Movie Night | 5:30-7:45pm

Step into a night of laughter, inspiration, and the magic of cinema as we present "Hart of it All" by the comedic genius, Kevin Hart. With refreshments provided, we invite you to join us for a screening of this entertaining and enlightening movie that revolves around building generational wealth for Black and Brown families. Limited seating available.

Financial Festival | 10:45am -3pm

Welcome to WealthLand, the ultimate festival where knowledge transforms into action and fun reigns supreme! Dive into the exciting world of generational wealth at our indoor breakout sessions, where experts provide hands-on insights and personalized guidance. But that's not all! Get ready for a day filled with live music, browsing at our vibrant black business shopping area, kid-friendly activities, mouthwatering delights from food trucks, non-stop dancing to a live DJ, and so much more! Come join the fun and let's make some memories together at WealthLand!

Day 3: Common Ground | 2-4pm

On the final day of WealthCon, the Common Ground Dinner is hosted by our valued partner, Habitat for Humanity of York County. This intimate family-style dinner brings together a diverse group of approximately 25+ individuals to engage in meaningful dialogue centered around their lived experiences, vision for a thriving Black and Brown community, and financial dreams. It's more than just a meal; it's a celebration of community and shared experiences, with a deliberate focus on advancing black generational wealth. We’re coming together to sow seeds of wealth and prosperity for generations to come.

Partnerships + Opportunities

BIZ MRKT

The BIZ MRKT, WealthCon’s Black and Brown Business Expo, served as a vibrant indoor marketplace highlighting local entrepreneurs and small businesses. Vendors showcased their products and services in a dynamic, community-centered environment that encouraged connection, discovery, and economic support.


The marketplace featured a diverse mix of business types, creating a rich and engaging experience for attendees while elevating Black- and Brown-owned brands. The BIZ MRKT was a standout element of WealthCon 2024, reinforcing the importance of circulating dollars locally and celebrating entrepreneurship as a key pathway to community wealth and sustainability.

Resource Village

The Resource Village was a cornerstone of WealthCon 2024, designed to connect Black and Brown families with vital services, tools, and community support. Banks, financial institutions, nonprofits, and service organizations came together to engage directly with attendees, share resources, and build meaningful relationships rooted in empowerment and access.


This space fostered collaboration and connection, ensuring participants left with information and pathways to support their financial, personal, and community well-being. The Resource Village reflected WealthCon’s commitment to meeting families where they are and creating environments where knowledge, opportunity, and community intersect.
